Mathematics and Welsh BA (Joint Honours) gives students the opportunity to combine Welsh – a language experiencing a resurgence within Wales and beyond - with the challenging study of Mathematics at degree level. Students will be encouraged to actively pursue their own areas of interest through the highly flexible modular programmes, leading to the development of transferable and vital skills for a graduate workforce.

Typical A-level Offer  AAB. Mathematics or Pure Mathematics and usually including Welsh at A-level and one other subject. Other than Mathematics, two AS subjects may be considered in lieu of a third A-level.
Please note that this course is not available to second language Welsh students.
Typical WBQ Offer  Advanced Diploma with a pass in the Core and grades AA at GCE A-level, to include Mathematics and Welsh.
Typical Int Bacc Offer  34 points overall with 6 points in higher level Maths and 5 points in higher level Welsh.
